Clients should shower and exfoliate thoroughly daily prior to the day of the tanning. Do Not apply moisturisers, Deodorant, Body Sprays etc as this will act as a barrier or react to the tan. Remove all jewellery if possible, shaving or waxing should be done at least 24 hours before to allow pores time to close.

Developing The Tan.

Airbrush Tans take 5-8 hours depending on your skin to develop its full colour. Showering, Bathing, Swimming and vigorous exercise must be avoided for at least 5 hours after application of tan.There will be some discolouration in the water when you shower or bathe after your tan, this is normal and will not affect your tan.

Clothing.

Tanning lotions rarely stains clothing. Any residual colour can easily be removed in the wash. Loose fitting clothing should be worn after the tan.

Maintaining The Tan.

With regular daily application of moisturiser your tan will last between 7-10 days, depending on your skin type.

Sunscreen.

Airbrush tanning lotions offer no protection from the sun. High factor sunscreens and moisturisers are always recommended when in the sun.


Contra indications.

Airbrush Tanning should not be offered to clients who have psoriasis, eczema, cuts and abrasions or during the first trimester of pregnancy.
